Offensive combinations
In order to enhance physical performance, Krav Maga Training Centre students have a range of offensive stand up skills to rehearse in fight practice.
We introduced the use of offensive drills as they improve power, speed and co-ordination. They also dramatically reduce reaction time and more importantly - can reduce time in conflict. Remember this is Krav Maga not MMA, there could be weapons, knives, multiple attackers and so on.
The combinations are used in accordance to the principles of Krav Maga. I.e responce to a threat to counter attack in the shortest time, disengage, and watch for the next threat.
Remember to work top and bottom of the body. Its hard to protect the legs and head - hurt the legs or body and the hands drop. Aim for the head - the hands lift allowing better shots to body and legs.
There are an infinite number of possible combinations - these are a basic example and represent a basic punching and kicking frame work that knees elbows and blocks can be inserted into.
Remember - offensive drills are training drills and a small part of the whole picture - not a complete answer to a threat.
