BKMA Licensed Krav Maga Instructor.  Course Dates

Phase 1 - Saturday 19th of February to Sunday the 27th of February 2011

Phase 2 - Saturday 12th of March to Sunday the 20th of March 2011

Includes the City and Guilds 7303 Award worth over £700 alone.

No Krav Maga Organisation in Europe offers any Qualification that is recognised externally.  The B.K.MA is the only organisation able to offer a professional trainers award.

The British Krav Maga Association will be running the next Licensed Krav Maga Instructor - Basic Training in 2011. The Instructor certification programme is the most Professional Krav Maga Certification of its kind in the UK and consequently the ONLY KRAV MAGA INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION IN EUROPE offering a nationally recognised trainer certification (City and Guilds 7303 or PTLLS).

The Instructor Certification Programme is aimed at those wishing to learn authentic Krav Maga with a view to working as a professional instructor or wanting to becoming a school owner.

First Aid Training

City and Guilds 7303 Trainers award included

On completion of Basic Training, we provide licensees with Instructor Support and business mentoring. We are the only UK organisation to provide this amount of support to new Instructors.

Continued Professional Development

After Graduation, Instructors are offered a range of continued professional development courses and specialities

These include,

Kids Certification, Combat Conditioning Coach, Advanced Krav Maga Instructor, Edged Weapons Instructor, Control and Restraint Instructor, Force on Force Instructor, and a Master Instructor Qualification.

BKMA Krav Maga Instructor Course Requirements

We are interested in attracting a high standard of  potential Instructor, rather than selling courses.  As a general guide we prefer:

1. A long term commitment to both training and teaching.

2. At least 3 years consistent training in a martial art (preferably boxing, mauy thai, kick boxing or MMA although other systems are acceptable)

3. No criminal record. An enhanced CRB check is required. (allowances are made for minor issues)

4. A good standard of physical fitness. (Allowances are made for age or injuries)

5. An approachable personality and ability to establish rapport with students.

6.The ability to pay course fees and attend the 18 day course (organised 2 x 9 days over 2 months).

Booking your place

We received 4 applicants for every place on the June 2010 course. To ensure your place we require a £200 deposit. Your place will be held subject to CRB and confirmation that you are in good health and will be of a high standard of fitness prior to starting.  You are invited to come and train with us prior to the course.   The remaining fee may be made in installments or in a lump sum at any point before the first day of the course.

On receiving your deposit we will contact you about preparation for the course and attending some of the instructor preparation sessions.
